Got no money

I don’t need you or this town
anymore

Chorus

Goodbye, Hello

Truck weighed down
time to hit the road
On this long stretch of highway
 I aint moving slow
Please nobody, no nobody,
 follow me
Jack and Jim
they’ll keep me company

Goodbye to memories
of the past
Hello to all the dreams
I can live at last

Lyrics

Verse 1

Mama told her go and bite her tongue,
But she was never to much
of a soft spoken one
I’m falling for her what have I done
Because a war waged with her
is one that surely cant be won

Chorus

She could use a candle to fight the wind
Hold it up to a hurricane
and bare the biggest grin, oh
I don’t know what she’s got
but I know it cant be stopped
Chasing rounds of whiskey
with another round of shots, oh
Mama tried to ship her off to charm school
But she always found her way back
to daddy at the barstool
From the cradle to the grave
She’ll cut against the grain
She’s beautiful
 in all the wrong ways

Verse 2

She’s half full perfection in a glass
Always making memories
oh the smallest memories last, yeah
The fire and heat of passion she well knows
Like the sun she’ll leave her mark on you
the daughter of  Apollo

Bridge

She’s a little fire cracker keeps me chasing after her
A beautiful disaster in every sense of the word (2x)

Lyrics

Verse 1

I was always taught that green means go
And to never stray to far from what you know
I’m told the man upstairs is on your team
and when you drink to forget, drink whiskey

Verse 2

Oh if you see mud better take it off road
And if it’s gonna flood better get in a boat
And always remember what your mamma
mamma told you
Cause there’ll always be that day
when you look like a fool

Chorus

Cause its a healthy dose of free advice
Take it or leave it who knows if it’s right
It’s these simple words that guide us through  life
Cause when you’re down and blue
the world turns on you
and it’s free advice that helps you pull through

Verse 3

When you find the one you love better take it slow
And always blast Johnny Cash through your stereo
And when he breaks your heart don’t fall to your knees
Just drink to get drunk and sit by me.

Bridge

It wont be long
‘til you look down at your glass
and find that its half gone
Keep tripping, and tripping,
and tripping, and tripping, and tripping
all over yourself
‘Til you find your life's half full of free advice
‘Til you find your life's half full of free advice

Lyrics

Verse 1

Hey baby come over by side
Tell me that you love me
and you’ll be mine tonight
I want your loving,
need your attention
You got me where you want me
and we’re running out of time
You never know
where this could go

Chorus

I’m Feeling like I’ve never felt before inside
this feels so right
I wanna take over the world tonight
with you by side
Take my hand
And give this a chance
The only thing stopping us now
Is the break of day
the break of day

Verse 2

You own me with those deep blue eyes
Whisper what you want from me
and I won’t think twice
I want your loving,
need your attention
The clock ticks faster with every breath
from your spell I can’t hide
If you stay
this feeling won’t fade away

Bridge

If you tell me
that this is where it ends (that this is where it ends)
Then baby I won’t ever let the sun rise again

The morning light
made the night worth the fight

he falling for the one he’s known

And the bells they’ll sound
ring to the rythm
that our hearts pound
that our hearts pound

everything was worth the wait
Her smiling face as her daddy

Sixty years, slowing their walk
they never lost that spark
they tuck themselves into bed
He gently rubs her head and says
I love you

as the angels sing

And the bells will ring (4x)

Lyrics

Verse 1

Every once in a while
I tend to start a fire
from the troubles I get into
Cause ever since I was young
I always lived for fun
like skinny dipping in the neighbors pool

I’ve been called a pain
 from time to time
And I always made my friends
 walk the line

Chorus

Cause I’m a rebel without a cause
the best and worst there ever was
I fly by the seat my pants
 and I don’t care
I’m a dare you wouldn’t take
Wreaking havoc and heartache
Oh girl cant you see
it’s hard to handle me

Verse 2

Now that I’m older
I’ve been trying to show her
the truth behind these old boots
She’s always fussing and fighting
like a strike of lightning
when I forget to call and let loose

Leaving her wouldn’t fix a thing
‘Cause she’s the only one
who can handle me

Bridge

If you’re gonna have regrets,
regret something you did
And don’t regret what you didn’t do
I’ve done it all, how about you

Lyrics

Verse 1

Do you still think of me
And those starry nights in my old jeep
Head over heals listening to 92.3
Do you ever wish we were still seventeen

Chorus

And I know, you’re gone
And I know, you’re never coming back
And I know, we were not supposed to last
So all I ask
is love what we had

Verse 2

Those wild horses made you smile
Hand and hand, high school halls
you were always by my side
Those 7 numbers we used to dial
Who knew we were running,
running out of time, out of time

Bridge

Love what we had

Your worn out jeans,
and your long blonde hair
 Homecoming queen
love young and rare
Under those Texas stars tonight
I hope you keep
The memory of us
and what we used to be

Outro

Love what we had (4x)

Do you still think of me
and those starry nights in my old jeep

Lyrics

Intro

Cause we were front porch sitting
with natty light
Skipping class still passed out
from last night
Quarter draws, penny pitchers
who’s got next round
Every night of the week
we were getting loud

Verse 1

I’ll never forget the day
that our lives forever changed
Four years in front of us
we’d never be the same
In the last row of class
hoping that hangover would pass
And eventually it did
but the memories still last

Chorus

Cause we were front porch sitting
with natty light
Skipping class still passed out
from last night
Quarter draws, penny pitchers
who’s got next round
Every night of the week
we were getting loud
Once a year we drank beer
in Panama City
Easy street, we’d never think, always a party
Try not to forget and never regret
Everything felt right living the
College Life (4x)

Verse 2

Girls drank free every night
Couldn't wait for those tailgates
at Delta Chi
Cruising through campus
little honey bunny next to me
Couldn't wait to get that top off
of my old jeep

Bridge

Pop in my new song
we’d soak in the sounds
Watch my name get big in a
small college town
